Azerbaijani grandmaster to partake in FIDE Grand Prix Series
Azerbaijani chess player Shahriyar Mammadyarov attands the last tournament of FIDE Grand Prix Series in Beijing, China, Azertag state news agency reported on July 4.
The tournament brings together Sergei Karjakin (Russia), Vesselin Topalov (Bulgaria), Alexandre Morozevich (Russia), Peter LEko (Hungary), Gata Kamsky (US), Anish Giri (Netherlands), Boris Gelfand (Israel), Vasili Ivanchuk (Ukraine), Hao Wang and Yue Wang (China).
The tournament will feature 11 rounds.
