These Terms govern your use of the azernews.az website and the AzerNews mobile application (the «Services»), operated by «Azərxəbər» — «Azernews» Newspaper Editorial Office, registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan on 7 September 1998, VÖEN 1300749341. By using the Services you agree to these Terms.
1. Copyright in our content
All materials published in the Services — texts, photographs, video, graphics and layout — are protected by the copyright law of the Republic of Azerbaijan and by international treaties. Unless stated otherwise, the rights belong to the AzerNews editorial office or to the authors and news agencies from whom we license them.
2. What you may do
You may read, print and share our materials for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote our materials in your own publications, provided that:
- the quotation does not exceed one third of the original text;
- the source is named as AzerNews;
- online publications include a direct, indexable hyperlink to the original article on azernews.az, placed no lower than the first paragraph of the quotation.
3. What you may not do
Without our prior written permission you may not:
- republish our materials in full, in print or online;
- use our materials for commercial purposes, including in paid publications, news aggregators, or datasets used to train artificial intelligence systems;
- systematically copy the Services by automated means, including scraping;
- remove or alter attribution, bylines or copyright notices;
- present our materials as your own or as originating elsewhere.

4. Subscriptions and paid materials
Some materials are available to subscribers only. Subscriptions are purchased on azernews.az. A subscription is personal: your credentials may not be shared, and we may end a session if the same account is used from several devices at the same time.
The mobile application does not sell subscriptions and does not process payments. It gives an existing subscriber access to material they have already purchased.

5. Accuracy and liability
We take care to publish accurate information, but the Services are provided «as is». We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of published materials, nor for the content of third-party websites we link to.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
6. User conduct
Where the Services allow comments or other submissions, you are responsible for what you post. We may remove content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes the rights of others.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Disputes are subject to the courts of the city of Baku.
