Australia's prison population reach record high

According to official data cited by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the number of prisoners in Australia has reached a historic high and continues to rise. Alarmingly, nearly half of those incarcerated have not yet been sentenced following a final court verdict, Azernews reports.
