Iranian presidential candidate Ali-Akbar Velayati has said that he will not withdraw from the race in favor of any of other candidates, Mehr news agency reported.

"If elected, I will present an overall report of the administration's activities to people once in 100 days. The first report will be very important. People are facing with severe economic problems and expect us to resolve the problems as soon as possible," Velayati added.

Previously, Velayati said he will focus on economic challenges should he become president, Press TV reported.

Velayati said he will tackle inflation and jobless rate.

Iranian former Foreign Minister, International Affairs Advisor to the Supreme Leader, Ali-Akbar Velayati is a member of the Coalition of Three, along with two other presidential candidates, Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel and Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf.

Iran will hold the 11th presidential election on June 14.

The voters will select the successor of the current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is not able to participate in the elections for the third term according to the country's constitutional laws.

The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term in a national election and the Guardian Council vets the candidates for qualifications.
