Turkey’s new ambassador to Baku to take office in October

The new ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan will arrive in Baku in early October, current Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun told reporters on September 8.
He said that the Azerbaijani-Turkish relations will continue to develop in all areas.
The diplomat stressed that any threat directed against Azerbaijan is also directed against Turkey.
“All the projects initiated with Azerbaijan will continue, and our relations will be further strengthened,” Ismail Alper Coskun said.
In August, Ankara announced that Ismail Alper Coskun was replaced with Erkan Ozoral, who, prior to this appointment, was the deputy director general of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
