Huawei invests billions in R&D and files thousands of patents over decade

Richard Yu, head of Huawei's consumer products division, revealed at the launch event for the Pura 80 smartphone that over the past ten years, the company has invested approximately $173.7 billion in research and development and has registered more than 100,000 patents worldwide, Azernews reports.
