Carpet factory construction in Turkmenistan finished
Construction of a factory for production of carpets and rugs in Ashgabat was completed.
The Turkmen government reported about this on February 15, noting that the factory can produce 800,000 square meters of carpets and rugs a year.
The plant has been equipped with modern hardware from leading international manufacturers, making it possible to produce carpets of various shapes, sizes and designs.
In addition to the automated factory lines, there is also a workshop for production of the Turkmen national handmade carpets.
A total of 500 new jobs will be created at the factory.
