Turkmenistan allows construction of medical complex in Ashgabat by Turkish company

The Health and Medical Industry Ministry of Turkmenistan is allowed to sign a contract with the Turkish company Efor Insaat Yatirim Sanayi ve Dis Ticaret AS, the presidential decree reads.

The matter rests in a contract for the design and construction with improving of the adjacent territory of Research Center for Maternal and Child Health complex in Ashgabat with 670 beds with the condition of provision of modern medical equipment, spare parts and consumables, and carrying out trainings.

The document ordered construction to begin in July 2013 and conclude in July 2015.

Turkish businessmen in Turkmenistan are implementing over 1,270 investment projects, of which more than 1,200 projects worth over $15 billion and 26 projects worth over 2 billion euros, and 26 projects worth over 56 billion Turkmen manats and other projects.

Ankara has expressed an interest in the delivery of Caspian energy to Europe via the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan and Turkey. Ashgabat attracts Turkish companies for the construction of housing fund, industrial plants and facilities in the Caspian Sea coast resort of Avaza.
