President Aliyev arrives in Italy

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva has arrived in Italy on a working visit to attend the opening of Azerbaijan’s pavilion in the Expo Milano 2015 international exhibition.
A guard of honor was arranged for the head of state at Milano Malpensa International Airport.
This year for the first time, Azerbaijan has presented a national pavilion at the international exhibition Expo-2015 in Milan. The exhibition unveiled in May will last until October 31. Organizational partners of the Azerbaijani pavilion are the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Three biospheres constitute the major peculiarity of Azerbaijan’s National Pavilion. Crafted of intricate glass constructions, 10 meters in diameter each, these biospheres bear an obvious similarity with the Globe and convey the message of the Planet’s fragility.
