Azerbaijan, Turkey expand cooperation in defense industry

The Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry named after Academician M.F.Nagiyev of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and Turkish company AYESAŞ signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of defense industry, ANAS told Trend on October 3.

The Memorandum was signed within the 2nd Azerbaijan International Defense Industry Exhibition ADEX-2016.

The document was undersigned by CEO of AYESAŞ Aziz Sipahi and academician-secretary of the Department of Chemical Sciences, Director of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Dilgam Tagiyev.

The Memorandum envisages the implementation of joint projects with participation of not only Azerbaijan and Turkey, but also other countries.

AYESAŞ Company operates in aerospace, defense and security businesses and provides advanced solutions in the business areas of C4I, avionics, electronic and electromechanical systems. The company offers products and services from design and development to build-to-print manufacturing solutions like tactical data communication, automated target detection and tracking, radar integration and automation, digital moving maps, multi-function consoles, wiring harnesses, rugged workstations and circuit card assemblies.
