Armed Forces Assistance Fund’s assets up
The assets of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces Assistance Fund reached 50,754 million manat ,AzerTag state news agency reported.
According to the Defense Ministry, capital assets of the Fund made 211,791 in US dollars, while the euro account made 593.
The Armed Forces Assistance Fund was established under the order issued by the President of Azerbaijan on August 17, 2002.
The Fund is formed on the basis of voluntarily donations of individuals and legal entities and at the expense of the other donations not prohibited by the laws of Azerbaijan.
It was established in order to assist the improvement of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces to modern standards, increasing the military`s technical capabilities and strengthening servicemen`s social security.
