Iran's non-oil trade turnover (including condensates) surpassed $41.62 billion during the 5-month period from March 21, indicating 32 percent increase compared to the country's $31.5 billion foreign trade in same period of preceding year(Iran's fiscal year starts on March 21).

Iran's non-oil exports stood at $19.639 billion during the period, 20.83 percent more compared the 5-month period of last year, Iranian Customs Administration reported Aug. 27.

Iran also imported about $21.981 billion worth of goods during the period, which indicates a rise by 33.58 percent in value year on year.

Liquefied propane, methanol, and liquefied butane were the main items exported.

China, Iraq, the UAE, Afghanistan and India were the top importers of Iranian goods during the mentioned period.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates, China, India, South Korea and Turkey were the leading exporters of goods to Iran.

Wheat (with share of 4.97 percent from total imports' value), motor vehicles with internal combustion engine (3.66 percent of total imports' value), rice (3.47 percent) corn fodder (2.63 percent) and soybean meal (2.42 percent) were the main imported goods.

Iran's total non-oil exports (including condensates) to foreign countries stood at $16.1 billion in the 4-month period from March 21, while the country's total imports amounted to $17.655 billion.
