Meanwhile, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the implementation of the joint action plan between Iran and the P5+1 started on January 20.
He expressed hope that the implementation of the first phase of plan would have positive outcomes for the country and bring further peace and stability to the region and the world.
Zarif also hoped that it would pave the way for achieving a final solution for the issue.
The political directors from the six major world powers are set to hold a meeting on Iran's recent nuclear deal in Geneva on January 21, a report said.
Russian news agency ITAR-TASS quoted an informed diplomatic source on January 19 as saying the political directors would discuss further steps regarding the nuclear deal inked last November between Tehran and the six world powers.
"I can confirm that EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton is convening a meeting on Iran at the level of political directors on January 21," the source said.
The source added that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and U.S. Under-Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman would represent Moscow and Washington at the meeting.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi said on January 19 that the European Union is poised to "revise" the anti-Iran sanctions on January 20 in compliance with the recent nuclear deal inked between Tehran and the six world powers.
Araqchi said in its foreign ministerial meeting on January 20 that the EU will revise the sanctions regime against Iran based on the Geneva deal.
Araqchi went on to say that starting on January 20, the U.S. administration will also promulgate the necessary instructions for banks, companies, and economic institutions in order to relax anti-Iran bans as agreed in Geneva.
He said Iran will also start fulfilling its commitments under the Geneva deal, including the suspension of 20-percent uranium enrichment.
Iran and six world powers - Russia, China, the US, Britain, France, and Germany - reached an agreement over the unresolved issues regarding the implementation of the Geneva deal on January 12.
Under the agreement, six major powers agreed to give Iran access to $4.2 billion in blocked overseas revenues if it carries out the deal, which offers sanctions relief in exchange for steps to curb the Iranian nuclear program.
