Iran, P5+1 Group to start next round expert-level talks

By Sara Rajabova
Iran and six world powers are scheduled to start next round of expert-level talks on Tehran's nuclear energy program in Vienna on April 3.
Hamid Ba'eedinejad, the director general for political and international affairs at Iran's Foreign Ministry, will head the Iranian delegation in the talks, Press TV reported.
The two sides are set to resume their high-level negotiations on April 7-9.
China, France, Russia, the UK and the U.S, which are the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, along with Germany, held high-level nuclear talks with Iran on March 18-19.
After the talks, the European Union and the U.S. have voiced support for their ongoing negotiations with Iran in an effort to fully resolve the dispute.
In a joint statement issued following a meeting in Brussels on March 26, senior EU and U.S. officials said they would "continue to make every effort to ensure a successful" resolution of the nuclear issue.
The two sides reached an interim deal on November 24, 2013 in Geneva to set the stage for the full settlement of the dispute over Iran's nuclear energy program.
Under the Geneva deal, the six countries agreed to provide Iran with some sanctions relief in exchange for Iran agreeing to limit certain aspects of its nuclear activities during a six-month period. It was also agreed that no nuclear-related sanctions would be imposed on Iran within the same timeframe.
