Afghan, Pakistani and Turkish leaders hold talks
The presidents of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Turkey are meeting
for talks in Turkey, Radio Liberty reported.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul is hosting the two-day trilateral
meeting in Ankara, which is expected to focus on economic and
security cooperation.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai plans separate talks with Pakistani
President Asif Ali Zardari.
They are expected to discuss the suicide bombing last week that
wounded Afghan intelligence chief Asadullah Khalid.
Karzai said on December 8 that the suicide attack was planned in
the Pakistani city of Quetta.
He did not directly blame Pakistan's government but said that
"bigger hands were involved."
Karzai said he would raise the issue as part of the investigation
into the case.
The Pakistani government has rejected any connection with the
attack, saying it was ready to help in the investigation.
