Iran says it exposed the “Hollywood façade” of US military power
Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Abdolfazl Shekarchi has said that Tehran is determined to push US forces out of West Asia, while warning that Iran has yet to use all of its military capabilities.
Speaking on Saturday, Shekarchi said Iran’s “greatest honor” was exposing what he described as the “Hollywood-style façade” of the US military and Israel, according to Mehr News Agency.
He also vowed that Iran would avenge the deaths of Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei and those killed in Minab and Lar.
“It is only a matter of time; it will happen,” Shekarchi said.
The Iranian military spokesman further warned against any retreat during the conflict, saying that doing so would allow the opposing side to advance.
“We have not yet used all our capabilities in the war with the US,” he said. “If we retreat in various areas, the enemy will take 10 steps forward.”
The remarks came after Iran launched retaliatory strikes against US bases in Jordan and the UAE, following what Tehran described as US aggression against Larak Island on August 30.
