President of UN General Assembly accepts Azerbaijan's appeal

Read morePresident of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, former Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago and Permanent Representative to the UN Dennis Francis has sent a letter to the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the UN, Azernews reports.
In his letter, the President of the UN General Assembly noted that he accepted the Azerbaijan request to convene an emergency special session.
The special session of the General Assembly will be held on October 26 at the UN headquarters in New York with the participation of 120 UN member countries, 18 observer countries, and 10 observer organizations.
