A gala evening of Azerbaijan Golden Kids Awards 2018 was held in Nizami Cinema Center on June 1.

The event, organized by AKİB Public Association of Volunteers was timed to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and the International Children's Day on June 1, Trend Life reported.

Children aged between 3 and 15 came down the runway. Famous actors, fashion experts and pop stars wished little models success.

The winners were determined as a result of voting at social networks and the jury decision.

Chairman of AKİB Imameddin Guliyev congratulated the winners and noted the importance of the project in the development of creative potential and the evolving of capacities of the young generation.

The best of the best were awarded by famous art and cultural figures. The hosts of the evening were Ruslan Sabirli and Letafet Alakbarov. Among the guests were such media personalities as Aligsmet Lalayev, Ramiz Novruzov, Jannat Selimova, Aybeniz Gashimova, Nahida Orujeva, Gulnara Khalilova, Nuran Huseynov, Nargiz Jalilova, Elnur Mammadov, Lala Mammadova, Eldar Gasimov, Ilgar Khayal, Fatima Fataliyeva, Elnara Khalilova, Elsa Seidjahan, Bahruz Vagifoglu and others.

The winners were determined in the following categories: Best Artist, Best Vocalist, Best Pop Artist, Best Pop Group, Best Model, Best Pianist, Best Violinist, Best Choir, Best Dancer, Best Dance Ensemble, Best Actor, Best Leader, Best Chess Player, Best Athlete, and Best Gymnast, etc.

Among them were Nuray Rahman, Iskandar Hasanzade, Altay Adigezalov, Banu Kerimli, Shura Zeynal, Nazrin Javadli, Rahib Mammadzadeh, Nihan Evdzhi, Muhammad Ali Yilmaz, Zahra Mammadova, Maryam Asadova, Sura Hasanli, Zamina Nurullayeva, Milana Nabiyeva, Khalid Aliyev, Ayan Bekirova Muzaffar Farzaliyev and others.

On behalf of AKİB, special prizes were awarded to the founder and director of the Hayat Foundation, Nuran Huseynov, the honored artist Aybeniz Hashimova and singer Elnur Mammadov for the contribution to the development of children's creativity in the country.
