CIS and Caucasian religious leaders met in Grozny

A delegation led by Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Board (CMB) Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade is paying a visit to Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic of Russia. The visit is taking place as a part of the events held on the occasion of the anniversary of former Chechen President Ahmad Kadyrov, AzerTag state news agency reported.

The next meeting of the Supreme Religious Council of Caucasian Peoples chaired by Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade and Advisory Council of the CIS Muslims was held in Grozny.

Addressing the event, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur expressed his views about the important role of Ahmad Kadyrov in the history of the Chechen people, as well as in the spiritual life of Caucasus.

Allahshukur Pashazade, who has just returned from Jordan, informed the members of the Supreme Religious Council of the Caucasus Peoples about the16th Amman Conference of Royal Aal Al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought, the lecture he delivered there and the Resolution of the Conference.

Allahshukur Pashazade and the members of the Council exchanged views on the activity and future plans of the Supreme Religious Council of the Caucasus Peoples.

Presenting the book containing the materials of the 2nd meeting of the CIS Muslims Advisory Council held in Baku on April 16, 2013 and the International conference on the theme "CIS Muslims support peace and sustainable development", the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board gave detailed information about the future plans.

The members of the Supreme Religious Council of the Caucasus Peoples issued a special message to the world leaders, parliamentarians and public regarding the deadly happenings in some Muslim countries, including Egypt, Syria and Iraq.
