Plant explosion in Balakan kills one, wounds several

An explosion occurred in a boiler house of the “Azeryem Senaye MMC” plant in the Balakan region of Azerbaijan on January 4.
The explosion killed one and injured two, Azerbaijan’s Emergency Situations Ministry told Trend. The explosion occurred at 10:30 local time (UTC/GMT +4 hours).
Currently, specialists from the Emergency Situations Ministry and other relevant bodies are investigating the explosion scene.
