Iran's monthly exports $4 bln more than imports

Iran's positive trade balance has reached $20 billion during the
last five months, despite huge reduction in both export and import
volumes.
Iranian legislator Hossein-Ali Hajideligani who serves as a member
of Planning and Budget Commission of Parliament quoted Iranian Oil
Minister Bijan Zanganeh as saying that Iran's current crude oil and
condensate export stand at 1.209 million barrels per day.
Hajideligani told Fars News Agency on September 25 that Iran's oil
and condensate exports reached $23 billion during fist six months
of current Iranian solar year, which began on March 20.
Iran exported about averagely $3.83 billion worth of oil and
condensates per month (19.16 billion per 5 months).
Iran also exported about 9 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas to
Turkey with $4.5 billion worth and imports around 4.5 bcm gas from
Turkmenistan with $2.3 billion worth in 2012, while the gas
import/export figures remained unchanged during current year.
Then Iran's net revenue from gas deal has been about $1 billion
during the last five months.
Iran also exports about 300,000 barrels of fuel per day, with $3
billion revenue per five months. The country's total non-oil
exports (excluding $3.1 billion worth condensate export) were 12.1
billion in first five months of current solar year.
Iran has a little of suitcase trade with $31 million worth during
mentioned period.
Then Iran's total legal exports stood at about $35.7 billion during
first five months (including $19.16 billion oil and condensate
exports), about $ 19.5 billion more than the country's total legal
imports.
Iran's condensate exports decreased by 8.5 percent during the first
five months of current solar year and reached 3.5 million tons,
$500 million less than the figure of the same period during last
solar year.
Iran exported about 170,000 barrels of condensates per day during
the first five months of current solar year. Then, regarding
Hajideligani's stated figure, Iran's crude oil exports is about one
million barrels per day, 200,000 barrels less than the average of
crude oil exports in 2011.
Iran's total non-oil exports (including condensates) decreased by 8
percent during the first five months of current solar year,
compared to the same period in last year and reached $15.2 billion,
while the imports decreased by 26.36 percent and reached $16.3
during the mentioned period of time.
It should also be noted that Iran also suffers from $20 billion
worth of illegal smuggling imports and exports annually.
