Iran to test new generation of missiles
Iranian Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said that the Iranian forces are to test fire new generation of missiles and unmanned planes in the near future.
Speaking at the fourth defense-related research festival on July 8, he said science and technology is the scene of competition for superiority among various schools of thought and cultures in the world, IRNA reported.
Competition in the sector leads to economic and political domination which is now regarded as main yardstick in global competitions, Vahidi said.
Irans defense ministry inspires world Muslims and oppressed nations, he said, adding that the ministry should take the lead in scientific fields in the world.
Iran has attained significant success in other defense sectors which will be made known to public in due time, Vahidi said.
