Iran to launch new domestically made drone

Iran will unveil its new domestically made unmanned drone at tomorrow's ceremony, country's Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said, ISNA news agency reported.

Vahidi noted that the drone has been manufactured by Iranian experts, and it has been given the name "Hamaseh".

The minister also said that in the near future Iran will present the country's new missile launching complex.

In April, Vahidi said that new ballistic and cruise missiles will be presented in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year, which started on March 21.

In addition, he said that new bombs would be unveiled, a new submarine and a new missile-launching flying boat would be launched, and new helicopters, aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles would be delivered to the country's armed forces in the first six months of the calendar year.

In April, Iranian army official Farhad Amiri said that the country will unveil a domestically-made missile system similar to the Russian S-300 missile system in the next Iranian calendar year 1393 (March 2014-March 2015).
