Iran holds military drills in Persian Gulf
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have started
military drills in the Persian Gulf on Wednesday, Trend news agency
reported referring to Fars agency.
The three-day military drills, titled "Fath 91", will feature IRGC
forces practising asymmetric warfare.
Asymmetric warfare is war between belligerents whose relative
military power differs significantly, or whose strategy or tactics
differ significantly.
According to Fars, it is planned to use military boats and
missiles. Iran's marine corps will also participate in the
exercises.
