Ali Hasanov: OSCE ODIHR for years takes biased position on elections in Azerbaijan

Enough number of observers has arrived in Azerbaijan to observe
the parliamentary election, says Ali Hasanov, Azerbaijani
president’s aide for public and political affairs.
He made the remarks November 1, the ‘secki-2015.az’ website
reported.
Asked about the reasons for refusal of the OSCE Office for
Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) to send an
observer mission to Azerbaijan, Hasanov said the ODIHR has for many
years been taking a biased position on the elections held in the
country.
“This time, the disagreements that emerged between the Azerbaijani
government and the ODIHR over the election observation methodology,
have led to that the organization didn’t back down from its claims
and refused to send an observer mission,” said Hasanov.
