Hill International to control High-Tech Park planning

American Company Hill International will have technical control over the planning process of "High-Tech Park" in Azerbaijan.
This was said by a source in the telecommunications market of Azerbaijan to Trend.
According to the source, after the development of the document by the company on technical control of the planning process, a tender will be made to attract a contractor for architectural design and construction works.
Hill International is one of the best companies in the world in construction management, which has managed to implement the most complex construction projects.
The High Tech Park is expected to be constructed on a 50-hectare area in the Pirallahi district of Baku.
Laying of the foundation of the Park is expected before year end, while the construction of the complex is expected to take two years.
Proposals for the construction project of "High-Tech Park" in Azerbaijan will be available in the next few months.
An international consulting company "Commit" is engaged in the concept development of the Park. Works conducted by the company are incremental.
Currently, the company has prepared an overall business plan of
the High-Tech Park. Studies are underway to build the
infrastructure necessary for the effective functioning of the
Park.
The High-Tech Park has already approved the regulation and held
meetings with potential foreign investors and companies.
The beginning of the Park's activities will ensure the creation of modern complexes for research, and the development of new information technologies. The Park will also play an important role in the sustainable development of economy and competitiveness in the country.
The new facility will be an area with the necessary infrastructure, logistics and governing entities for conducting research in ICT, telecommunications and space use, energy efficiency, and the development of new and high technologies.
Residents and companies operating in the park will be exempt from the 18 percent VAT on imported infrastructural and technological goods and services. The park participants will also be exempt from tax and customs duty for seven years.
