Famous Azerbaijani pianist performs in Moscow

The People`s Artist of Azerbaijan, honored artist of the Russian Federation, piano player Tamilla Makhmudova gave a paino concert at the Moscow House of Composers.

Accompanied by the chamber orchestra "The Seasons" led by artistic director and chief conductor-Honored Artist of Russia, Vladislav Bulakhov, the piano player Makhmudova has performed Sebastian Bakh`s Concerto N3.

Laureates of International competition Natalya Belokolenko (flute) and Yekaterina Kim (piano) also performed during the concert.

Tamilla Makhmudova is a professor at the Moscow State Pedagogical University`s music faculty. The main part of her activity she devoted to propagandizing of Azerbaijani music art.

Piano miniatures by Gara Garayev, Soltan Hajibeyov, Fikrat Amirov, Arif Melikov play an important role in repertoire of the pianist.

Earlier, the famous piano player gave concerts in many world countries, including UK, Belgium, Switzerland, India, Hungary, Tunis and others.

In 2002, the nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev has signed an order on awarding Tamilla Makhmudova with "Glory Order" for her contribution in development of the musical art.
