Turkish designers present national Osmanli costumes in Baku

"Osmanlı - İpəkOya", a creative Turkish national costume fashion show was held in Baku on April 6.
The event was organized by the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan, with the support of the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center in Baku and Public Association "Women Leaders", Trend Agency reported.
Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coshgun, Embassy's advisor for culture and tourism Seyit Ahmet Arslan, Iraqi Ambassador to Azerbaijan Haider Albarrak, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan and famous fashion designer Fahriya Khalafova, public figures, and representatives of culture and art attended the event.
The fashion show was greeted with enthusiasm by the guests of the festive evening.
Designers and models from the Turkish city of Bursa presented a collection of "Osmanlı - İpəkOya", the national dress with traditional decorative silk art Oya which originated from Anatolia in the XII century.
At the end of the festive evening, models walked on the scene with the flags of Azerbaijan in hands and worn in a dress with print design of Turkey's national flag, symbolizing the fraternal relations between the two nations. The move was accompanied by a storm of applause.
