Exhibition on Azerbaijani cultural heritage opens in Georgia
An exhibition dedicated to Azerbaijani cultural heritage has opened at the Georgian National Museum`s Art Salon in the capital Tbilisi.
The exhibition is co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, the National Museum and the Museum of Azerbaijani Culture after Akhundzade.
Ancient Azerbaijani hand-woven carpets, samples of painting, graphics, folk instruments, copper and ceramic home things are on display at the exhibition.
Addressing the event, director of the Georgian National Museum David Lordkipanidze highlighted the significance of the exhibition.
Director of the Museum of Azerbaijani Culture after Akhundzade in Tbilisi Leyla Aliyeva said that the aim of the exhibition is to raise awareness of Georgian society on the country`s cultural heritage.
The exhibition was supported by the Georgian Office of Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR.
