GIZ, Georgia expand coop
Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri met with representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) on October 2.
The parties discussed the issues of continuing partnership between GIZ and the Finance Ministry in the framework of the reform of public financial management (PFM) for the next three years.
They also discussed German aid in the creation of the program budget and the reformation of the pension and insurance sectors.
The German side expressed its readiness to assist the ministry in the improvement of customs legislation and proposed to discuss these issues in a formal format.
