SOCAR to purchase gas from Georgia’s Oil and Gas Corporation

Georgia's Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) will sell two million cubic meters of gas to SOCAR Georgia Gas Distribution Company.
GOGC reported that that the gas was purchased by means of an auction.
The initial price per 1,000 cubic meters of gas was $300 (excluding VAT), and was sold for $305.
The auction for the available gas was announced on June 30. Bidding was held on July 7.
An agreement will be signed with the winning company in the days to come.
SOCAR Georgia Gas Ltd was established in August 2007 with a vision of implementing a gasification program in the territory of Georgia.
