Azerbaijani Parliament adopts 90 laws and resolutions within holding 9 sessions
At the spring session of Milli Majlis, nine meetings were held, and 90 laws and resolutions were adopted, Azernews reports, citing parliament speaker Sahiba Gafarova telling at the last meeting of the autumn session.
The Speaker emphasized that in accordance with the recommendations of President Ilham Aliyev, measures to improve the work of the Parliament have been continued.
"Today marks the 54th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev coming to power in Azerbaijan. During these years, Azerbaijan entered a period of progress and prosperity. In connection with the 100th anniversary of the genius personality and the creator of independent Azerbaijan, another special meeting was held within the Milli Majlis session," Sahiba Gafarova noted.
At the end of the meeting, the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
