Russian parliamentary election was ‘transparent’, Azerbaijani MP

“The Russian parliamentary election was transparent. All polling stations were equipped with surveillance cameras and all necessary conditions were created for voters according to the international standards,” said Azerbaijani MP Rufat Guliyev who monitored the voting, Azertac reported.
Guliyev said the 52-man group of international observers of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly included members of parliaments of the CIS states, members of the legislative authorities, employees of the Secretariat of the CIS PA, as well as experts of the International Institute.
He noted that members of the monitoring group observed the election in Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast.
