Boulevard Hotel Baku hosted Azerbaijan Best Awards on January 23.
The awarding ceremony was timed to the 26th anniversary of public organization "Zirvə", Trend Life reported.
Thousand of guests, including representatives of culture and art, actors and directors, fashion designers, journalists attended the event.
The evening was hosted by TV presenter Samir Bayramli.
The project was headed Lyaman Mirtalibli and Agil Mamiyev, main director- Parviz Azimzade.
Addressing the ceremoy, the head of the "Zirvə" Mina Feyzullayeva stressed that throughout the 26-year activity "Zirvə" has aimed to support the creative intelligentsia, which carries a moral and spiritual mission in society.
The prize was awarded for achievements in public life, education, medicine, business, culture, art, sports, fashion industry and the media.
The winners include the chief of the Public Relation Department of the Baku City State Traffic Police Office (BCSTPO), Vagif Asadov.
People's Artist of Azerbaijan Agali Ibragimov, Faig Agayev, Firangiz Mutallimova, Nazperi Dostaliyeva, Maleyka Asadova, honored artists Tunzala Agayeva, Naina Ibrahimova, the head of the Center of National Costumes, PhD in Art Studies Gulnara Khalilova,singers Nura Suri, Sevda Yakhyaeva, Sabina Babayeva, Khatira Islam, Samira Efendi, Farid Hasanov, actor Islam Mehraliyev, TV presenter Nargiz Aliyeva, Baku Fashion Week organizer Hafiz Agayev, stylist Anar Agakishiyev, DJ China and others, including public figures from Russia, Georgia and Ukraine.
Trend News Agency's correspondent Vugar Imanov was awarded the diploma of the "Journalist of the Year".
Further, guests enjoyed spectacular concert program with the participation of local and foreign singers.
