Azerbaijan-Moldova ties appraised
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev received Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Natalia Gherman on September 9, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The sides expressed their satisfaction with high-level bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova. They also stressed the importance of mutual support within various international organizations.
The parties exchanged views on the issues related to the development of cooperation between the two countries in various areas, including the implementation of economic, trade, agricultural and infrastructure projects and other fields.
Azerbaijan and Moldova are strategic partners. The two countries are cooperating at bilateral and international levels. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Moldova amounted to $3.2 million, according to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
