Uzbekistan, Estonia mull issues of cooperation
Representatives of Uzbek and Estonian foreign ministries discussed in Tallinn the state and prospective areas for development of cooperation between the two countries in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported on June 9.
During the talks that took place within the framework of the third round of the Uzbek-Estonian political consultations on June 8-9, the two sides discussed the entire range of bilateral relations, including in the Uzbekistan-EU format, interaction within the framework of the UN and other international organizations.
Both sides stressed mutual interest in enhancing multifaceted ties, considerable potential in their development, including the implementation of joint projects in areas of priority for the two countries.
During the political consultations the sides paid a special attention to expanding the legal framework of cooperation.
The Uzbek delegation also held a meeting with Estonian Foreign Minister Marina Kaljurand and talks at the Estonian Travel and Tourism Association within the framework of the visit to Tallinn.
