As of January-August 2013, the revenue part of the Turkmen state budget amounted to 118.9 per cent and expenditure to 95.5 per cent, the Turkmen Ministry of Finance reported.

'The plan for all types of taxation for the period was fully executed," the report reads.

Around 97 facilities were constructed in Turkmenistan for the first eight months of 2013 and the figure increased by 56 per cent compared to the same period last year.

The Turkmen parliament approved the state budget for the current year in which revenues are envisaged at 86.335.8 billion manat and expenditure to 89.735.8 billion manat.

The revenue part is formed at the expense of such industries as oil and gas, chemical, power generation and construction. The Turkmen budget also envisages the progressive development of agricultural, transport, telecommunications, textile and food spheres.

The country's revenues are expected to increase through further development and support for the activity of private enterprises.

Turkmenistan envisages a significant increase in allocations for the construction of new facilities of the national tourist zone Avaza, the construction of buildings of social and cultural importance and the industrial and transport-communication infrastructure in the capital and regions of the country.
