Azerbaijan, Qatar ties mulled
Azerbaijan`s Emergency Situations Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov has met outgoing Qatari ambassador Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahd Jassim Al-Thani.
The minister recalled his recent visit to Doha and meetings held on the sidelines of the 10th International Exhibition of Internal State Security, AzerTag state news agency reported.
Heydarov said that the agreements on cooperation in management of emergency situations and security signed between Azerbaijan and Qatar would create opportunities for strengthening relations between the two countries.
The envoy hailed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar in prevention and elimination of emergency situations.
Heydarov wished the diplomat success in his future activities.
