Liechtenstein keen to expand bonds with Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Switzerland with concurrent accreditation to Liechtenstein Akram Zeynalli has met Speaker of the Parliament of Liechtenstein Albert Frick as part of his working visit to Vaduz, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The ambassador handed over an invitation letter of Azerbaijan`s Parliamentary Speaker Ogtay Asadov to Albert Frick.
Zeynalli also said his country attached importance to relations with Liechtenstein, expressing confidence that Frick`s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to development of the bilateral ties.
For his part, Frick noted Liechtenstein was keen to expand bonds with Azerbaijan.
They praised multilateral format of cooperation between the two countries, and exchanged views over prospects for developing relations in a variety of fields.
The Azerbaijani ambassador also provided an insight into the history and current state of talks to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
