Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Switzerland meets UPU International Bureau head
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Switzerland Akram Zeynalli has met
director general of the Universal Postal Union International
Bureau, Bishar Abdirahman Hussein, AzerTac state news agency
reported.
The Azerbaijani ambassador congratulated Bishar Abdirahman Hussein
on his new appointment and expressed satisfaction on the country`s
cooperation with UPU, adding these ties would further develop.
Zeynalli also touched upon the country`s achievements in the postal
service sector.
The ambassador also noted that Azerbaijan, as a full member of the
UPU, was ready for contributions to the further development of the
international postal sector.
Bishar Abdirahman Hussein, in turn, said that he was aware of
Azerbaijan`s achievements in the postal sphere and hailed the state
care to relevant sphere.
On Azerbaijan`s activity within the UPU, Hussein noted that the
country was important partner for the development of the
international postal sector.
He also added that UPU was interested in the close cooperation with
Azerbaijan.
Zeynalli invited Bishar Abdirahman Hussein to visit Azerbaijan.
