Azerbaijan, South Korea sign education agreement
Azerbaijani Education Ministry and South Korean Foreign Ministry of Affairs and Trade have signed a grant agreement on a digital multimedia infrastructure and e-education network for the Nakhchivan State University, Trend news agency reported.
The agreement was signed by Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov and Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Choi Suk-in. The main purpose of the agreement is to create a portal to render online educational services such as e-learning, an electronic library and e-educational network.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mardanov appreciated the expansion of cooperation with Korea, which has organised a number of projects related to education in Azerbaijan.
Over 320 students from 10 countries are studying at the Nakhchivan State University. Seven Koreans are studying at the university.
