From stunning victory to mega projects in Karabakh – Zangilan airport inaugurated

Azerbaijan has inaugurated another grandiose project in the Eastern Zangazur economic region. The Zangilan International Airport timed to coincide with the second anniversary of the liberation of the district from Armenia’s nearly 30-year-long devastating occupation, was commissioned on October 20 by Azerbaijani and Turkish Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan respectively with top officials from both nations in presence.

EU deploying monitors along Armenian-Azerbaijani borders

The EU Council agreed to deploy up to 40 EU monitoring experts on the Armenian side of the state border with Azerbaijan to monitor, analyze, and report on the regional situation.

Azerbaijan and Poland have signed various memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on cooperation. The Memorandums of understanding were signed between Azerbaijan’s Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), as well as between Baku Steel Company and Polish companies Konstal, Zystal Marcin Zyska, Touye Group, and Warstal.

Azerbaijan, Moldova ink MoU on labor, employment, social protection co-op

Azerbaijan and Moldova have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the labor, employment, and social protection sectors. The memorandum was signed by Azerbaijani Labour and Social Security Minister Sahil Babayev and Moldovan Labour and Social Protection Minister Marcel Spatar.

Nevertheless, it remains true that Iran was aghast to comprehend the seismic regional geopolitical shift that occurred after the Second Karabakh War and will continue to counteract Baku’s gradually emboldening assertiveness.
