“Tasanno-2014” cuisine festival held in Tashkent

The "Tashkent Palace" hotel in Tashkent hosted the national festival of cuisine "Tasanno-2014". The festival was dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of independence day of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by Azerbaijani Embassy to Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Culture Center named after Heydar Aliyev.

During the festival, the embassies operating in Uzbekistan, international organizations and national culture centers put on display their traditions and culture and regaled the guests with national meals and sweets.

The colorful Azerbaijani stand attracted many visitors.

Some books and albums relating to Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev activities, publications about Azerbaijani history and culture, as well as souvenirs were put on display in the stand.

Exposed national cuisine including dolma, plov, dovga, kuku, kata and gutabs left a unique taste in the mouths of the visitors. The guests also had a chance to get acquainted with Azerbaijani national sweets such as shakarbura, pakhlava, gogal and many other delicious baking.

The festival ended with performances of world peoples music and dance programs.

The child dance ensemble "Azerbaijani girls" performance was welcomed by great applause.

At the end, the participants of the festival were awarded with prizes. Azerbaijani embassy and Azerbaijan's culture center named after Heydar Aliyev were also awarded with diplomas and medals.
