Azeri president opens military hospital

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Monday opened a military hospital of the Ministry of National Security, state news agency AzerTac reported.
Minister of National Security, lieutenant-general Eldar Mahmudov delivered a report to President Aliyev.
The president unveiled a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the yard of the hospital.
Then, President Aliyev cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the military hospital, and toured it.
Photo stands reflecting Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s care and attention to development of healthcare in the country were installed in the foyer of the building.
The 150-bed hospital has a polyclinic, a clinical laboratory, a surgery room, intensive therapy, angiography, radiology and endoscopy departments, a helicopter square, a parking and a 120-seat conference hall.
The Azerbaijani leader was informed that the building of the facility covers a total area of 34,500 square meters.
President Aliyev also met staff of the National Security
Ministry and the military hospital.
