New standards approved
The Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents approved a number of new state standards, the Committee reported.
According to the Committee, the following standards were approved in Azerbaijan: AZS STB 960-2013 'Technical inspection and repair of motor vehicles. General safety requirements'; AZS STB 1175-2013 'Service for motor vehicles in the auto service enterprises. Services rules'; AZS GOST R 51142-2013 'Domestic services' Services of hairdressers. General technical requirements'; VTTM TKP 5.1.04/OR-2013 'Certification of works and services. Main provisions'; AZS ISO/IEC 19794-2-2013 'Information technologies'. Biometric data exchange formats. Part 2. Fingerprint image data - checkpoints'.
The newly approved standards also included: AZS ISO/IEC 19794-4-2013 'Information technology. Biometric data exchange formats. Part 4. Fingerprint image data'; AZS ISO/IEC 19794-5-2013 'Information technologies. Biometric data exchange formats. Part 5. Face image data'.
