China import and export fair presented in Azerbaijan
Baku hosted the presentation on the 14th China Import and Export Fair to take place in Guangzhou, China, from October 15 to November 4 AzerTac state news agency reported.
The event, organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), brought together businessmen engaged in different areas of Azerbaijan`s economy.
The event focused on the importance of the upcoming Chinese fair in establishing foreign relations and promoting Azerbaijani products.
Chinese ambassador to Azerbaijan Hong Jiuyin provided an insight into the fair.
Also, Azerbaijani businessmen are invited to the "China Expo and Economic & Trade Forum 2013" to be launched in Yinchuan on September 11-15.
The China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, is held biannually in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, with a history of 55 years since 1957. In China, the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is the most comprehensive trade show with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete in exhibit variety, and the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turnover in China. The fair attracts large amount of exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.
