Azerbaijani IT firm Ultra, Latvian DPA to co-op on biometric systems

Azerbaijani IT company Ultra signed a memorandum of cooperation with Latvian company DPA in the sphere of biometric systems, the company's press release says on Wednesday.

According to the report, the document was signed within Azerbaijani-Latvian Business Forum held in Baku, organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) with the support of the Economic Development Ministry.

On basis of the plans which were approved on the memorandum to provide with the biometric services and to implement the biometric solution in Azerbaijan, it has been intended to exchange knowledge and experience between Ultra and DPA.

DPA's employees, who have more experience in this field, particular the manager of company Sanita Meijere held a discussion with the director of Infrastructure department of ULTRA Ruslan Romanenko and other employees.

Meijere noted that the project as a momentum into the development of Azerbaijan's economic policy, as well as in IT sector.
