Azerbaijani parliament passes statement on EU parliament's resolution
The Azerbaijani Parliament has adopted a statement on the European Parliament's June 13 resolution.
Vice-speaker Valeh Asgarov read out the statement at a special parliamentary session on June 21.
According to the statement, Azerbaijan is one of the founders of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. An association agreement with the EU is being prepared.
Discussion of Azerbaijan's issues at European Parliament's plenary session on June 13 and the adoption of a resolution have raised questions, the statement said.
