President Aliyev receives former Bulgarian leader
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on May 31 former Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov, AzerTac state news agency reported.
They noted the 2nd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue was excellently organized in Baku, and stressed the importance of the event.
The Azerbaijani leader and the former Bulgarian President described participation of high-ranking delegations from various countries, including the Balkan countries in the forum as an evidence of high international interest in the event.
During the conversation, they praised development of the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
The sides also noted the important role of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria in expanding the regional cooperation.
