President Aliyev receives former Croatian President
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received former Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on May 31.
They praised development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia, AzerTac state news agency reported.
The Azerbaijani President and the former Croatian leader stressed the necessity of expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
They also hailed activities of Croatian companies in Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev and Stjepan Mesic underlined the importance of developing cooperation in other fields of economy.
They also stressed the importance of the 2nd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in terms of strengthening relationship between the two countries and peoples.
